Fergus is a railway traction engine who works at the various quarries around Sodor. He was also known as the "pride of the cement works" while the cement works were still open.
Bio[]
Fergus is a small traction engine who mainly worked at the Sodor Cement Works. However, after the Cement Works were closed down due to a rockslide, Fergus was sent to work at the Blue Mountain Quarry, as well as the other quarries around Sodor. He was involved in an incident with Burnett Stone, but the two managed to overcome their differences and are now very good friends.
Fergus knows the Sodor rulebook by heart, and is insistent on following the rules and "doing it right", which can extremely annoy the other engines who work with him at the quarry, especially Bill and Ben, Diesel, and Arry and Bert.
Fergus currently works at the Blue Mountain Quarry. He was also recently assigned to help out with the rebuilding of Ulfstead Castle.
Persona[]
Fergus is an extreme "goody-goody". He always follows the rules around his worksite, and complains about and reports other engines who don't. Fergus is insistent on following every single rule in the Sodor rulebook. He is easily annoyed by engines who "muck about", and his catchphrase is "Do it right!" Fergus, however, is very gullible, and can easily be tricked into doing anything by engines who want to take advantage of him.
