Mike is a small but strong red engine who is specially engineered so that he can go on both Standard Gauge and Narrow Gauge tracks.
Bio[]
Mike originally worked on the Mainland Railway for many years before he was bought by Sir Topham Hatt. Mike made a bad first impression when he arrived on Sodor, due to making fun of Duck. However, he soon made it up when he apologized to Duck and any other engines he had unknowingly insulted. Since then, he has made many friends around Sodor. His best friend is Duncan, due to both of their hot-headed tempers, and both of them having blown off their whistles at one point or another.
Mike works very hard around the railway, and is commonly seen working with the Sodor Railway Repair. He enjoys hauling trains of ballast and stone around the island. However, unlike the other Narrow Gauge engines, he hates working at the Blue Mountain Quarry. He currently works at the rebuilding site of Ulfstead Castle.
Persona[]
Mike is a small but strong engine who is a hard worker. However, he has a very short temper and is hot-headed, and is well known to have frequent outbursts at engines that annoy him. Mike can be arrogant and self-centered, but he can manage to put this aside when duty calls.
